About Me

Hey there! 

My name is Amanda Layton. 

I'm a Flight Attendant, writer, and encourager. 

My work can be read in several Chicken Soup for the Soul books and I am currently editing my memoir. 

Most people know me as the "Lightning Girl" as I was almost struck by lightning once, caught it on camera, and the footage was aired on Good Morning America.

I'm passionate about Jesus, audiobooks, hand-crafted birthday cards, adventuring, and eating delicious meals with loved ones.

When I'm not busy flying the skies or typing away at my laptop you can find me learning to play Disc Golf with my husband or eating street tacos.
